It’s a family tradition of mine each Boxing Day to blow away the Christmas cobwebs by heading out en masse to one of Cornwall’s most magical offerings, the Winter Wood, at Tehidy Woods near Portreath, which is a performance staged each year by Rogue Theatre.
It’s a magical experience for children and grown-ups alike as you wander through the woods meeting weird and wonderful characters, ranging from fairies, to fire eaters and Old Man Time himself, all leading up to a new play, which the company write and perform each season in a Marquee tucked deep in the heart of the woods.
You can read more about that in my blog here: www.bosinver.co.uk/discover-rogue-theatres-winter-wood
As it’s such a lovely thing to do with the family at Christmas, I thought I would share some of the other performances on offer between Christmas and into the New Year from Cornwall’s very talented and entertaining theatre companies and performers! Enjoy!
