Lovely and warm — our indoor pool is heated to around 29°C using renewable technology, with a level depth of 1.2m and a few steps with a handrail for easy access. There’s an outdoor sun deck too and a sauna in the same building.

Absolutely — you’re welcome to join Farmer Dave to feed our chickens, ducks, goats and sheep and collect the morning eggs, at 9.30am every day. You’re welcome to pop in and visit the animals at any other time during your stay too.

You can feed the chickens and ducks crushed digestive biscuits or cornflakes (no bread, please) when they come to call. We’d ask that you don’t feed the horses though — feeding them can lead to bad habits, and even make them poorly.

Wild Kids is our free Forest School session, usually run on Monday afternoons and tailored to whichever ages happen to be staying that week. It runs subject to numbers, weather and staff availability, so it’s always worth checking at reception.

No need — you can book yours at reception once you’ve arrived, rather than online beforehand. Just pop in when you check in and we’ll let you know which mornings are running that week.

Pony rides run weather permitting, so on a particularly wet or windy morning they may be rescheduled.

Of course — you’re welcome to come along and watch, whether your little one’s waiting for their turn or you’d simply rather cheer from the sidelines.

Yes, our gym sits next to the swimming pool, on the path to the tennis and pickleball courts, with free weights, a running machine, a spinning cycle and a cross trainer. It’s for adults only, with no unaccompanied children under 16, and is open 9am to 8pm, except when the Therapy Room is in use.

The pool building also has a sauna.

Yes to both — our court, just past the gym and therapy room, is set up for tennis and pickleball, with lovely views over the surrounding valleys to boot.

Yes — our custom-built Therapy Room, right next to the gym, is home to qualified therapists offering massage, body treatments, facials, manicures, pedicures, brows and lashes, and waxing. Contact the therapists direct to book or ask at reception.
