Our ducks and chickens

We have numerous breeds of ducks and chickens on the farm – from the comical upright waddlers known as Indian Runners, to little Silkie hens and our very chatty call ducks – they’re always keen to be fed by hand or even just admired from a distance. Collecting one of their eggs often results in the biggest smiles and most memorable photos from your holiday…

Our sheep

Lizzy, Derek, Vanilla, Snowdrop, Freckle, Sooty, Sweep and Badger will never have to worry about mint sauce. They’ve spent their entire lives here munching grass, lying in the sun and looking decorative. They also eat from your hand!

Our goats

We have 4 pygmy goats on our farm – cheeky chappy Billy the brown goat, sweet little Mary and mischievous Snowy and Caramel.

All of our animals are also available for you to visit at any time in their sheds and out in the fields.

Ponies

One of the highlights of their stay for many young guests are our pony riding sessions which are suitable for any children up to around 12 (but size dependent) as we have ponies of varying sizes. The sessions are free and are currently run several times a week.

We farm our land organically which means that we don’t use any pesticides or fertilisers which makes for a super lovely home for all those cute and cuddly, loveable critters we share our 30 acres with.
