Ditch the digital for fun on our farm

Ditch the digital at Bosinver – where screens take a backseat and farm fun takes over
It doesn’t take long. You arrive, unpack the car, and within minutes the children are gone — off to see the animals, racing to the play barn or exploring the woodland on an adventure. And just like that, phone screens take a backseat. On the farm, days are shaped by simple pleasures. Morning animal feeding, splashing in the pool, den building in the woods and endless outdoor play. There’s always something to do, and somehow, no one misses their phone.
Trade WiFi for fresh air and freedom
Although we have super-fast broadband connection for each cottage (ideal if parents have to catch up on any work whilst away) Bosinver is all about getting outside together and enjoying safe places for outdoor play. Here, children are free to roam, explore and make their own fun. They can collect eggs for breakfast, make new friends in the play areas and return later to a beautiful cottage at the end of the day, rosy-cheeked and happily tired. Without screens, imaginations come alive — and so does family time.
The moments that matter most
It’s often the simplest things that become the most memorable: feeding the animals together, woodland adventures and muddy boots, swimming whatever the weather, family games in the evenings and toasting marshmallows around the campfire. These are the Bosinver moments that stay with you and become your precious family memories. And getting outside in nature is not only heartwarming and good for your health, it sparks curiosity and can foster a lifelong love of the natural world.
As David Attenborough has said:
“If children don’t grow up knowing about nature and appreciating it, they will not understand it, and if they don’t understand it, they won’t protect it.”
Time to reconnect
A stay on the farm isn’t about switching off — it’s about reconnecting. Slowing down, spending time together and enjoying the outdoors. And when it’s time to go home, it’s not the WiFi anyone remembers. It’s the freedom, the fun, and the feeling of being together.

We’d love to hear about your visit and what you enjoyed the most. Leave a message below, post on our Facebook page or tweet @bosinver.
