Bosinver Style

What do we mean when we say ‘Bosinver Style’?

The truth is that with 20 individually styled cottages it could mean something very different, depending on which cottage you’re staying in! Whilst each is uniquely decorated, there are a few key threads that shape how our stylish cottage interiors look.

When we consider the style of our cottages at Bosinver, we imagine families and folk relaxing enjoying time together in the space we’ve created. We’re prepared for your every need – whether it’s indulging in a family feast, cosying up by the fire under a blanket after a walk on the wild side, getting ready for an adventure on the Cornish coast or simply enjoying some down time here on the farm with your loved ones.

Our aim is to create spaces that ooze uniqueness with effortless style – not too precious but not too shabby either, mixing high end modern design with the humble and handmade. It is an eclectic mix of Boho chic, Scandi style and country farmhouse homeliness – contemporary MissPrint cottage wallpaper meets Habitat industrial lamp meets traditional settle adorned in Scandinavian fabrics and cushions from Hus and Hem. Subtle shades and colours with zingy brights, all designed for comfort and looks but not so precious that you have to rush around moving everything out of reach of the children!

Each cottage room is furnished individually, from uplifting rooms full of rich vibrant colours and bold patterns to grown-up relaxed rooms, draped in opulent textiles and subtle colours, full of laid back country charm.

A great night’s sleep

We want you to have the very best quality as soon as your head hits the pillow at Bosinver. You’ll find comfortable quality mattresses and duvets and bed linen from the likes of White Company and Designers Guild in each of our cottages, leaving you with a good night’s sleep and ready for what the morning has to bring.

Local arts and crafts

Cornwall is an incredibly inspirational place to live, that’s exactly why so many artists make the Duchy their home. We love to support this talented bunch and adorn the walls of our cottages with work from Cornish artists including Richard Tuft, Caroline Walker, Natasha Chambers and Sasha Harding.

The local theme and attention to detail doesn’t stop at the walls; we also support and buy from local craftspeople such as Tom Raffield, who makes incredible lampshades (and recently featured on the Channel 4 Grand Designs programme) and Lucy Turner with her upcycled furniture. It’s these little touches that add so much to our cottage décor and we’re happy to share the information with for guests who fall in love with some of our designs to purchase items to use at home.

Quirky contemporary designs and interiors

The cottage welcome pack, the designs on the walls of our office, our branded postcards; they’re all created by a top team of local designers (including Leap Design and Melanie Chadwick). It’s these people that help to bring our brand to life!

Whatever style makes you smile, we hope you spend many hours enjoying the space and unique interiors we have lovingly crafted in the cottages here at Bosinver.
