Polgooth Inn, Polgooth

Our fantastic local village pub, the Polgooth Inn is just a 10-15 minute stroll from Bosinver along a country lane.  The pub was formerly a miners’ counting house and has been an inn since the early 18th century. With a bar, family room and large garden the Polgooth Inn serves a variety of food to suit all tastes and runs occasional music events and quizzes. They also offer breakfasts on Friday and Saturday from 7.30 to 10am 01726 74089

Kingswood Restaurant, London Apprentice NB currently closed due a fire

Probably the closest restaurant to Bosinver, popular with locals and visitors alike, with a delightful conservatory and decking area, the Kingswood offers good value tasty food made with local produce 01726 63780

Pandora Inn, Mylor, Falmouth

Parts of the Pandora Inn date back to the 13th century and with its flagstone floors, low beamed ceilings and beautiful new thatch it certainly retains a lot of character. On fine days you can also sit outside on the floating pontoon. Ideal for a casual lunch or evening meal. 01326 372678

Sam’s on the Beach, Polkerris

A family-friendly restaurant on the beach at Polkerris located in the old RNLI lifeboat station. A range of traditional wood fired pizzas, seafood and steaks 01726 812255 (recommend pre-booking in summer).

The Hidden Hut, Porthcurnick Beach, Portscatho

A family friendly beach-side outdoor hut serving simple fresh food and drink from March through to October. Quirky and rustic, this beach cafe featured on ITV’s “Caroline Quentin’s Cornwall” TV programme. It really is hidden! Park in the cliff top car park above Portscatho and walk the cliff path 5 minutes down to the cafe, its well worth it!

Gylly Beach Café, Falmouth

A really cool beach café open throughout the year, this is the ideal place to enjoy a relaxing coffee with homemade cake or a tasty lunchtime treat. The beach and nearby gardens make it an ideal day out for all the family.

Blue Bar, Porthowan

Surfer’s haunt, the Blue Bar is located in the sand dunes right by the spectacular beach at Porthtowan. Seasonal, local food freshly prepared daily. Live bands at weekends.
