A place where there's so much to do

When you arrive the weeks’ activities will be explained to you as part of your welcome and introduction. Social distancing measures, heightened cleaning and hand washing are central to our plans to keep you safe while you are staying with us. There will be hand sanitiser and wipes around the site. Please use it before and after using any equipment.

Animal Feeding

Animal feeding will happen every day apart from Saturday. Each cottage/party will be able to attend an animal feeding session every other day, so you will be able to attend at least 3 times during your stay. You will also be able to visit the animals at any point during your stay.
There will be 2 sessions each day with roughly 5 cottages (max. 30 people) attending in each session to ensure enough space for social distancing at 2 meters.

Hand washing will be mandatory, before and after your feeding session.

You will be allocated your session based on the cottage you are in.

Pony Rides

Pony rides will happen daily apart from on Saturday. Each session will have a maximum of 8 children and parents will need to help us getting the children off and on to the pony. You will sign your children up to this when you arrive.

Please note children must wear a safety hat to ride a pony so we will be providing washable caps to wear inside the hats and there may be size weight restrictions that apply to older children.

Swimming Pool

You will have exclusive use of the swimming pool for your cottage for at least 1 hour 45 minutes every other day and we have measures in place to ensure that popular times in the morning and evening are fairly allocated.
There will be an adult swim daily between 8 – 9 pm where the pool will be divided into 3 lanes.
Hand cleaning stations will be in place to use before and after your swim.

The changing rooms will be closed with one toilet available for emergency use only!. You will be asked to change before and after your swim in your cottage.
The swings slides, outdoor play equipment and sand pit will be available but please hand sanitise and respect other people’s space and take turns. The trampoline is not available at the moment.

Games Room

Our indoor games room will be open with maximum 2 families in there at one time. The games room will be divided into 2 with pool and the games console on one side and table football and table tennis on the other.

Families will use this on a first come, first served basis and we will ask guests to be respectful and use it for a maximum of 45 minutes per session.

Laundry – Only one person at a time, hand sanitise before entering and wipe down machine buttons and door handles before touching

Wild Kids

Our Wildkids forest school sessions will become WildFamily time.

If you wish to take part, you can sign up at reception. You will be given a grab bag loaded with info, challenges, activities and a few extra bits to help you complete. Some are creative, others are physical or mindful – I’ve tried to include something for everyone. Unlike normal, time won’t be limited. Take as long as you like – in fact, you can complete over several days if you wish. Admittedly there is a little reading to do, but hopefully you will find it all useful.

Once you have your grab bag, use the whole site map and complete as many of the challenges and activities as you wish to. They can be as easy or as tough as you make them. Hopefully every generation can enjoy being part of the WildFamily. Tatum our Wild Kids leader will be in the Wild Kids hut on Thursdays 5-7pm when you can discuss your findings and toast marshmallows in turns, so please reserve your slot.

Grab bags and remaining contents should be returned to the reception ready for us to clean and re-stock for the following week- let’s keep it as sustainable as possible!

Tennis Court

Our tennis court will be open and used on a first come, first serve basis. Guests will be asked to use this no longer than 45 minutes in one session and to vary the times they use it each day.

Please bring racquets and balls if you have them. Don’t worry if you don’t – we have some to borrow, and a tub of disinfectant to pop them in when you’re done.

Outdoor play equipment and trails

At Bosinver we are all about being in the great outdoors, come rain or shine! All of our swings, slides, sand pit and Wendy house will be open for you to use with hand washing facilities and wipes available for you.
We will provide the sheets and information about our trails for you in your cottage as part of your welcome pack

Things may change

Bear with us! We will undoubtedly refine and improve things as we put them into practice, listen to feedback and find new and better ways to do things. Government guidance will also change so we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding whilst we busy away to make sure we can offer you a brilliant family holiday that we can be proud of.
