The biggest event of the year in the UK is just a few weeks away and to mark the special occasion we are being treated to a bank holiday weekend.
Celebrations kick off on Saturday 6th May until Monday 8th May 2023 in London with communities honouring this historic occasion in their own way across the country.
There will be lots happening in Cornwall over the weekend. The Eden Project is just a 10-minute drive from Bosinver and have 3 days of celebrations, talks, music and more planned for their visitors! If you would like to go a little further afield Trengwainton Gardens have announced that they are hosting a picnic on their Royal Meadow along with a flag making activity. National Trust’s Trengwainton Gardens is in a sheltered position close to Penzance with exotic trees and shrubs – the award winning garden is home to ponds, streams, and sea views. It well worth the 45 minute journey from Bosinver, the Garden Café is set in its own walled garden and serves drinks, cakes ice cream and light bites so you can make a day of it. Entry is £5.50 for child and £11 for adults.
Not ones to shy away from a special occasion we will hosting a decorate a crown competition for our guests staying at Bosinver. We invite everyone staying to don their crowns for animal feeding on Monday 8th May where Farmer Dave will judge the best crown. Not only that, we will have a surprise ‘Royal Visit’ and carriage rides for everyone on our ‘Royal Carriage’!
