Cherry master bedroom
As soon as the New Year is over, our trusty team of tradespeople arrives to spruce up Bosinver. We’ve had top-of-the-range fire safety misting systems installed in our larger cottages to comply with new fire regulations, new bathrooms in Well Close, Valley View and Jacks Barn, redecorating and painting in every cottage, sofas replaced, and new king-size beds in the Farmhouse.

We are renowned at Bosinver for our stylish interiors and every winter we select certain rooms in the cottages to upgrade. Nanny Pat and Jessica Forbes Interior Designer, work their magic to transform them with a cool new look, which delight our returning guests who often ask us for details of suppliers so they can ‘bosinver’ their rooms at home.

This year we have worked on Lowen’s 4 Poster bedroom, two bedrooms in the Farmhouse, Valley View’s bathroom, Polclay lounge and family bathroom, Cherry’s lounge and master bedroom and Well close’s bathroom. The list is long when you have 20 cottages to look after!

We also have our Sustainability hats on so we reuse whatever we can, sometimes moving furniture from one cottage to another or sending it and soft furnishings to a homeless charity nearby who offer it to families who have been rehoused in the area.
No, you’re not seeing things, that is Farmer Dave in the swimming pool!
In February, our swimming pool was emptied, deep cleaned (by Farmer Dave), broken tiles replaced, the whole pool grouted, and the ceiling replaced. Paul’s refilled the pool and it’s currently warming up to a toasty 30 degrees ready to welcome you and the smallest members of your family in the February half-term.
In May, we had our tennis court resurfaced by a local business and they’ve done an amazing job. We have now incorporated a pickleball court into the tennis court so you can use it for both!
