If you’re coming down to Cornwall for Easter, you’ll find a cracking variety of activities for families across the county. Here are our top picks.

Enjoy Easter at Eden

The Eden Project’s school holiday activities are always brilliant. Running 24 March – 15 April 2018, this is their biggest-ever Easter event. Go eggsploring on an egg hunt, find your way through the spring maze and bounce round the giant inflatable obstacle course… For under fives, there are special games and a soft play area that will keep them happy for hours. See the full programme and find out more on the website.

The Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt at Lanhydrock

Head to Lanhydrock and follow the nature trail around the grounds to claim your Cadbury chocolate prize (26 March – 14 April 2018).

Put a spring in your step at Trebah Garden

Trebah Garden is always popular with families – there’s so much to discover here, with hidden delights around every corner. Follow the Leaping Lamb Trail (24 March – 22 April 2018) round the gardens to win a special Easter treat. Look out for the private beach at the bottom of the garden. It’s a great place to do some stone skimming and enjoy an ice cream if it’s sunny!

Make some feathered friends at Paradise Park

Head to Paradise Park this Easter (30 March – 15 April 2018) to hunt for clues as you explore the park and claim your own mini egg prize. Don’t miss the antics of the macaws and cockatoos in the Free Flying Bird Show. You can also see the birds of prey in action in the Eagles of Paradise display!

Go to Pirate School

Budding buccaneers and swashbuckling seafarers will be sailing to the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth this Easter to sign up for Pirate School. Running on selected days throughout the Easter holidays (check with them before you visit), this is your chance to learn your way round a ship, get your hands on some pirate treasure and learn how to load a cannon! With interactive shows from Rattlebox Theatre and pirate-themed crafts, this is one not to miss.
