- I first came across Sheepers on Instagram a few years back and couldn’t resist buying some of their gorgeous traditional Polish Slippers. Sheepers, known for their handmade sheepskin slippers (I am the proud owner of three pairs!), use ethically sourced sheepskin and environmentally friendly tanning methods, ensuring their cool slippers last! Sheepers’ product line extends beyond slippers, offering a growing selection of beautiful children’s slippers, bags, rugs, dog beds, cushions, sandals, and jackets. - The Earth Candle Company based in Newquay, offer ethical, sustainable, and recyclable soy candles, all handmade right here in Cornwall. Founded in 2020 by Hannah, a mother of two, what started as a small kitchen table hobby has blossomed into a thriving business. By 2021, Hannah’s luxury candles had made their way into H&M, and the company has since expanded its range to include beautifully scented options like Sage & Sea Salt, Wild Fig & Cassis, Lavender & Chamomile, and Vanilla. Hannah also makes reed diffusers made with eco-friendly ingredients. Beyond creating luxury candles, they are an official reforestation partner with “One Tree Planted,” having replanted 12,242 trees in the Amazon rainforest to date—an impressive feat indeed! For more information, be sure to visit Hannah’s website.
- I first discovered Beevive “The Bee Revival Kit” through Instagram a few months ago and ordered one to use on my coastal walks! Founded by Jake, Faye, and Leo, this keyring holds a sugary solution to revitalize a weary bee, aiding its crucial pollination duties. Made in Exeter, Devon, the keyrings are paired with “Bee Mix” bags of native wildflower seeds for planting in areas that bees would love. They also offer DIY Bee Hotel kits and Flower Press Kits. The team’s passion extends to educational workshops with schools and businesses, promoting awareness and action for pollinator conservation. For more information, check out their website.
- Muddy Puddles started as a children’s wet-weather clothing brand, and we have had the pleasure of working with them for the last couple of years. We often see their coats and puddle suits on the farm, and it’s easy to see why mums love them! Both of my daughters had their puddle suits for our beach walks, and they still wear their coats today. Recently, we received some of their new thermal pyjamas for a photoshoot, and we were amazed by their softness and quality! The designs are fantastic because they can be worn as Christmas pyjamas as well as winter pyjamas. I also love their UV swimwear collection, the prints are really bright and bold and perfect on a busy beach! They also sell smaller items like hats, gloves and socks which make either great Christmas gifts and stocking fillers! Check out their website to explore more.
- Westward Farm based on St Agnes, Isles of Scilly is run by Grace and her family. They produce the most amazing handmade soaps, shampoo and conditioner, lip balms, shower gels, honey and gin! I have purchased many soaps and shower gels from Grace as it really suits my skin. Grace’s family grow all the botanicals used for their products on their family farm and use steam distillation to extract the oils. All items are posted in eco friendly packaging and batch numbers on all their products are written by hand! If you want to see them in action producing their products or waxing their gin bottles, go and check out their Instagram. Personally my favourite gin is their rose geranium and the geranium lavender soap smells divine! They sell a range of pre packaged gifts which takes the hassle out of having to wrap it yourself! Check out the website to see what they offer.
- The Cornish Seaweed Company based in the south of Cornwall was founded by a good friend of mine, Tim. They harvest all seaweed by picking it by hand and drying at a low temperature to preserve all the nutrients. They offer a range of dried seaweeds and flakes, seaweed seasonings (the seaweed salt is amazing to add to anything) , seaweed supplements and their very own seaweed cook book! All their seaweed is certified organic and is sustainably harvested to ensure the longevity of the crop to minimise any disruption to the local environment. Check out their website here and get those hampers filled with Cornish goodies!
- This autumn, we had the opportunity to collaborate with Dotty Dungarees to create some festive content, and I must say, their winter dungarees are exceptional! Their impressive collection features lined dungarees that are incredibly cosy. Plus, they offer adult sizes, so you can match with your kids. The design ensures durability with extendable lengths and roll-up bottoms secured by a button, allowing for growth adjustments. They’re committed to sustainability, using eco-friendly, plastic-free packaging. Take a look at their website to explore their range.
