THIS YEAR WE ARE SUPPORTING COPPAFEEL! CHARITY...
Kris Hallenga and her twin sister Maren, from Newquay, founded CoppaFeel!, a breast cancer awareness charity, after Kris was diagnosed with incurable breast cancer at the age of 23. This diagnosis came after she had been turned away from her GP for more than a year.
Despite living with this incurable disease for 15 years, Kris dedicated herself to educating young people about the importance of checking their chests for early and potentially life-saving diagnoses. She achieved a great deal in her short life and through her tireless efforts, she has not only educated countless individuals but has also fostered a sense of empowerment surrounding chest checking and body awareness.
To honour Kris, a true Cornish hero, we have decided to support the work of CoppaFeel! over the next year. We will make a donation to the charity and give guests an opportunity to further add a £2 donation with their booking.
