There’s no need to wait for summer to enjoy a little break at Bosinver. From September through to June, we offer flexible short stays of three nights or more, making it easy to escape for a long weekend, a few extra days with the family, or a relaxing break with your favourite people.

Set on a 30 acre farm in the heart of Cornwall, near to the North Coast, Bosinver is home to 20 luxury self-catering cottages, surrounded by open countryside and within easy reach of some of Cornwalls best beaches, the Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan.

There’s plenty to enjoy without having to plan every minute, too. All our activities and facilities are included with your stay, so children can explore, play and get stuck into farm life while grown-ups have time to slow down and enjoy their luxury cottage.

Whether it’s a family adventure, a cosy break for two, or a chance to bring several generations together, our cottages offer the space and freedom to make your stay your own.

why choose a short break at bosinver?

You don’t always need a whole week to make the most of a holiday at Bosinver.

Our short breaks give you the chance to escape to the countryside, enjoy some proper time together and still be home again before the week is out. With flexible arrival dates, it’s easier to find a break that works around your plans, rather than having to fit everything into the traditional Saturday-to-Saturday holiday.

There’s no need to plan lots of days out as there’s plenty to discover right here on the farm, from exploring the grounds and meeting our animals to enjoying our activities and facilities. The children can stay busy, while grown-ups get a little time to relax too.

when can i book a short stay?

Short stays are available from mid-September through to mid-June, with breaks of 3 nights or more. You can choose your arrival day to suit your plans, with arrivals available on any day of the week except Sundays.

Only need two nights? That’s fine too. Our 2-night stays are charged at the 3-night rate, but you can make the most of your final day with a flexible departure time, rather than the usual 10am checkout.

Your Cottage

Every cottage at Bosinver has its own unique feel and character. However, one thing they do have in common is that they’re all designed for young families; some you’ll find on a single floor (great if the grandparents are coming), whilst others have wide open plan living and dining spaces; perfect for play, family times and keeping an eye on the kids!

Swimming Pool

How does having your own indoor swimming pool sound to you? As well as general swimming sessions, we offer every guest the chance to book the pool for an hour each day. That means you’ll be able to swim and splash on your own, whilst also enjoying the pool with other families if your kids just can’t get enough of the water!

Animal Feeding

Great days always start with animal feeding! This is often a highlight for guests of all ages – and that includes the adults! There’s the ducks, the cheeky goats, some curious sheep and the famous ‘cock-a-doodle-do’ that awaits you. They’ll eat from your hands and are guaranteed to put a smile on your faces, so be sure to bring your phone or camera to capture these magical moments.

If your family loves the outdoors, then Bosinver is the perfect match for you. Set in 30 acres of countryside, we’ve made plenty of trails for you and the kids to enjoy, not to mention our outdoor play areas, fishing on the lake, the zip wire, the tennis courts,

Our Wild Kids sessions are held once a week and allow kids of all ages the chance to enjoy playing outdoors together with nature crafts, games and campfire marshmallow toasting in our special Wild Kids hut. It really is proper good old-fashioned outdoor fun!

We can’t always guarantee the weather, but we can make sure there’ll always be something for you to enjoy. When the rain does come, the indoor soft-play or our games room with table football, pool table and other toys are great places to be.
